See you at Cookbook Fest
Join us in Napa for an incredible weekend of cookbooks, storytelling, delicious food and drink, and great community!
Hi there,
Our first Cookbook Fest is next weekend and we can’t wait to bring cookbooks to life with dozens of featured authors!
Tickets are selling fast and we’d love to see you there!
For close to a year now (and more years in the brain-making), a nimble team has been pulling together some of the most interesting cookbook authors from around the country for our festival. We’ve called out to our New Yorkers, and we’re jet-setting folks like Jessie Sheehan, Edy Massih, and Khushbu Shah out to party with us. The LA crew is coming in strong, too, with stars like Bricia Lopez, Josh Scherer, and Brandon Skier hopping up. And, of course, our Bay Area contingent of featured authors is overflowing with talent, from Bryant Terry to Andrea Nguyen to Tu David Phu to Illyanna Maisonet. (Oh, and that’s only ten of the more than 50 featured authors and talent on their way to Napa!)
We’re not kidding when we say Cookbook Fest is unlike anything you’ve seen before. Where else can you take part in a live podcast recording with The Sporkful or Copper & Heat, meet your favorite authors in intimate book signings, see authors in action in our Studio Kitchen and Sweet Shop, enjoy delicious meals inspired by cookbook authors,
From the beginning, I’ve always told people that Cookbook Fest is, at its core, a book festival. But of course, the books are cookbooks, so we’ve got to have incredible food, cocktails, wine, and an all-day dinner party vibe. That means this isn’t like other food festivals you might have been to. (Not that we don’t love those, too!) Here you won’t find 200 chefs serving tiny bites to long queues of hungry people or premium VIP areas that cost a month’s rent to enter.
Instead, our focus is truly on bringing cookbooks to life. We want you to hear from cookbook authors directly—be it as part of a session on our festival's main stage, an intimate conversation in our Industry Salon, or simply over a glass of Napa Valley wine or a Model Bakery pastry.
Our full schedule just went live today: check it out!
